I was very much content with the mobile i had. Well , you can rephrase it this way. "I chose to be content with the mobile i had" since i had no money to take a new one and the only problem wid the mob was it was running on "bada" .
Just days before getting the 2nd months salary , i was obsessed with the idea of taking an android mobile. Many options buzzed up. And i thought of going for Galaxy ACE. When i told my friend about this, he suddenly pointed out some statistics saying that Galaxy S2 would be the best option. And from that point on, i was doing lotta math in my mind whether to go for it. I googled and couldn't find any flaws with the phone. The only problem was that i would be left with no money for the next one big month. But still, i thought of going for it.
And yes, I compromised my 2nd months salary for my obsession. Except for some close friends, all others stared at me like i had done some terrible mistake. Some even had a sarcastic face. Many said that "I could have done this and that with that money " . Even though i felt sad, i never showed that on my face.
It had been 3 weeks and everything was going fine. It was 3.00 am in the morning and I was at gandhipuram bus stand. I knew that no bus services would be available at that time. So I thought of hiring a taxi. I took out my S2 and made a call and in a few minutes the taxi came. I got into the taxi and he took me to CMS. Since some road construction was goin on, the driver dropped me on the way and i had to walk like 3 minutes to reach the house. I gave him the money and started walking . After walking a couple of meters, I noticed that mu mobile was missing. I turned around and I could see the car at some distance. Soon I dropped everything I had with me and started to run calling "Taxi". But he didn't respond. Maybe he chose not to and then the taxi started moving. I knew i could never reach it. I felt numb. I ran back to my home and took my friends phone and tried contacting the Taxi service and got his number. I tried calling my mobile and it was still ringing. Soon i got the taxi drivers number and he promised to come to CMS. After 15 mins , he came and i checked the car. I felt very skeptical. But I couldn't do anything. I went back to gandhipuram to check whether i had dropped my phone there by any chance. I started believing that something magical would happen. But nothing happened. I tried calling my phone again. This time ,the lady with the attractive voice said some bad news. "The subscriber you are trying to reach is switched off ". I reconfirmed it. What else could i do at this time. I went back home . I thought i could never sleep. But some how i managed to sleep coz of the tiresome journey i had. Next day I woke up hoping that everything would have been a dream. But it never was.
PS : Switch on the mobile tracker in your mobile :). If any of my relatives is reading this, don't tell this to my parents coz i told them that I sold the phone :(
